"Hello I am Eve Brown I have 13 years previous experience in childcare, working in Eduaction before I became the proprietor/owner in February 2000.
It was formally known as Alban playgroup, and operated 9.00am until 12 noon for 3 mornings a week for the over 3 year olds. Having to take all the equipment out every morning and then putting everything away again at the end of the session. The playgroup gradually took on more children and after a couple of successful year’s I was asked if I would like to move the playgroup upstairs, putting the equipment away on Friday and setting out again on a Monday. After a good Ofsted the playgroup went to operating from 9.00am until 4.00pm with up to 30 children attending at any one time from the age of 2 years and nine months.
I thrive to provide a setting that offers opportunities for children to develop, achieve and mature into young adults".
"Hello I am Kaltrina Mustafa I have 5 Years experience of working in childcare.
The most rewarding part is when they learn something new and how proud they get. There is such a twinkle in a young child's eyes when they are learning something new, everything is so interesting".
"Hi, my name is Karina. I am currently studying a Foundation Degree in children and young people's services. I have been working in childcare for more then 5 years now. My passion for working in childcare comes from my brother who has down syndrome. It is him that made me interested to know how children learn and develop though play. With that in thought, I got into childcare and pursued this venture as a career. Although, it challenges me, it also gives me great pleasure to see the children strive to achieve their goals and see that I am making an impact in their lives to help shape their furture".
