Family Resources

Families are at the heart of Alban Pre-School, below is a selection of resources to help guild or inspire you to make healthier choices

Social, Emotional, Health & Wellbeing

Poor mental health in childhood is associated with a number of negative outcomes in later life, including poorer educational attainment and employment prospects.

Oral Health

Tooth decay is the most common oral disease affecting children and young people in England, yet it is largely preventable.

Potty Training

Children are able to control their bladder and bowels when they're physically ready and when they want to be dry and clean. Every child is different, so it's best not to compare your child with others.

Families are like branches on a tree. We grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one.

Speech Language & Communication

Speech and language development includes the ability to listen, understand and communicate verbally and non-verbally.

Healthy Eating

Children’s food preferences and eating habits are formed early in life and the time that they spend in early years settings provides an ideal opportunity to shape healthy behaviours.

Immunistion & Infaction Control

Young children particularly those under the age of five years are recognised as at particular risk of contracting and transmitting gastro-intestinal and respiratory infections.
