Useful Day-to-Day Information

Snack time

We have two snack times daily. We charge £1.25 per day towards fruit and vegetables. Children are encouraged to cut their own fruit to build independence. Milk and water are provided.

Lunchboxes
  • Please promote healthy eating — no sweets or chocolate
  • Strictly no nuts and no kiwi due to allergies
  • We do not reheat food provided from home
Illness policy

Children must be symptom-free for 48 hours before returning after sickness or diarrhoea. We do not administer antibiotics — parents must come in. We do administer long-term medication.

Sleeping room

We have a dedicated sleeping room for children attending a full day.

Observations

Staff observe children weekly under the EYFS framework. Every child has a minimum of one observation per week, uploaded to Tapestry.

Celebrations

We celebrate and enjoy the differences in all cultures and religions — not just Christian festivals. Diversity is something we cherish.
